Numerous potholes along this very busy road, 7th June

Mon, 07 Jun 2021 07:46:42 +0100
56.200279 -3.424251

This public road, which leads to the Recycling Tip at Kinross, has a large number of really bad potholes along the length of it from the Recycling Tip to the junction of the road where it joins the B996. The public use this road constantly all year round, and the potholes are getting much worse and deeper. In winter you can't see how deep the potholes are as they look like pools of water, but they will be very dangerous to drive over. Please can they be repaired as a matter of urgency.

Huge articulated trailer with advertising on side of motorway, 16th March

Mon, 16 Mar 2020 12:23:31 +0000
56.196642 -3.426296

There is a huge articulated trailer (the back part of an articulated lorry) which is just sat on the end of the private road, adjacent to the motorway. One side is covered in bright orange livery with Webster Developments on it, and the other side advertises their new development at The Paddock, Powmill. This trailer has been here for at least 18 months (previously advertising another of their new house developments at Gairneybridge, which have now all sold). I totally support legal advertising in set places, but this vehicle is sat at the end of the no-through-road right next to the motorway, and it is very distracting when driving on the motorway, because it is bright orange. We saw official signwriters vehicles re-doing all the advertising on the lorry this week, and I can't believe that planning permission was given for advertising at this spot. Please can you forward this to PKC for them to look at - thank you.

Debris on Pavement and Road, 28th February

Thu, 28 Feb 2019 23:36:27 +0000
56.177076 -3.410879

Thanks for trimming the trees and hedges. However extremely disappointed with the mess left behind. It's not safe to walk on the pavement with our dogs, children in prams and anyone using a mobility scooter. When the pavement ends the road is no better. You have to walk on opposite side of road with no pavement, facing wrong direction for on coming traffic. Very dangerous as cars don't stick to 30 mph on this road. This road is extremely well used by dog walkers, cyclists and drivers. Does the council want car repair and vet bills?

Over grown shrubs and low branches, 16th September

Wed, 16 Sep 2015 09:49:34 +0100
56.176557 -3.412859

Heading from poo bin on hatchbank road over bridge and up the road to the stables. Path is over grown and tree branches are low. Grass verge on other side is over grown so can't walk on that. This is the worst it's been in 5 years. It's that bad that at some bits you can't walk on the pavement. Cars go far to fast on this road and not safe to do so especially at night. It's got that bad that we can't get the mobility scooter up the pavement unless on the road. This pavement is used daily as there are at least 12 dogs being walked daily. If you have a child and pram it's single file. Please advise action going to be taken. Thanks

DANGEROUS new road layout., 11th April

Thu, 11 Apr 2013 13:47:05 +0100
56.199816 -3.422854

In spite of signs indicating a new road layout many drivers are oblivious to the fact that the main road coming into Kinross now turns left and along the newly constructed link road. I have nearly been killed [on more than one occasion!] by motorists blindly carrying on up what was originally the main road into the High Street. PLEASE ALTER THIS JUNCTION TO ENSURE THAT HEED IS TAKEN OF THE NEW LAYOUT BEFORE THERE IS A FATALITY.
