Disabled space not in use, 1st October
There's a disabled bay outside my house and not in use anymore. The user no longer has a car. Can u paint over it...it looks crap outside my house and reducing my home's value as confirmed by estate agents. It's also getting used by visitors and any plebe to park which is a total disrespect to people who live around here. Ive complained before but no-one gives a hoot?@?also I dont mind if genuine residents round here use but its just causing ill feeling by taking up space that is legitimately for anyone to use but we feel guilty because there's no blue badge...get a grip Fife Council

Inadequate lighting at road works on approach to bridge on North side. It is very dangerous at night., 11th December
I am an infrequent traveller to Edinburgh. On Thursday 8th Dec. evening I was totally confused with the arrangements of the lanes on the approach road to the bridge from the North. What made it more difficult was the inadequate lighting of the road. This work should be lit up like a Christmas tree. The same applies to the chicanes in the road on the North bound lane on the North side of the bridge. They are in total darkness. I was travelling at an average of 30 mph.

26 potholes, 17 deeper than 50p, 9 deeper than 20p, 21st August
Ferry Road is only 1/4 Mike long. Now has 26 deep potholes, most are steep sides creating a danger, particularly to cyclists as these would easily case a rider to fall over, possibly into the path of a vehicle. The photos are just an example; there is a vertical 50p piece in each photo. They have been there for many months, but have deteriorated significantly recently.

Constand sharp metal debris form the loca scrap yard, 14th July
There is a scrap/salvage yard which receives several (overflowing) shipments via lorry of miscellaneous scrap metal. As a result there are always sharp bits of metal on the road near the entrance which results in numerous unnecessary flat tyres each year and could pose a health risk to the many dog walkers that use this road as part of the Fife Coastal Trail.

Traffic congestion at Town Pier and turning circle and inadequate road markings, 18th April
Double yellow lines worn away
And details:
Residents at Pierhead, North Queensferry are experiencing considerable nuisance from motorists and boat operators parking in the turning circle at the end of Main Street, at the head of the town pier.
The double yellow lines are faded and worn and many drivers are ignoring them. When challenged politely about parking there some drivers have suggested that the parking restrictions don't apply because the yellow lines are not continuous.
Some drivers (and especially local commercial boat operators) park on the pier itself to avoid the yellow lines, but this is unsafe since the pier can be slippery and has no barrier to prevent vehicles plunging over the edge.
The issue is causing particular nuisance for local residents, both with regard to property access and parking and in terms of safety for pedestrian use of this important public space.

Dog Fouling, 5th February
It is throughout Cleveland Drive and the park area behind us,These two men walk these 2 dogs at different times of the day, I have just witnessed them coming down to the Drive from the Hillfield area and letting the whippet type dog foul the grass verge and walking on without picking it up,they also let the dogs foul in the road, as has been seen on several occasions, it really is becoming a big problem here now, it gets picked up on the tyres and spreads even further, I have a photo of these people and their dogs but not, unfortunately, actually fouling.so I don't know if that will be any use to you
