Council tenants removing fence to make off street parking, 19th May

Mon, 19 May 2014 21:50:04 +0100
56.213425 -2.732393

The tenants at 23 University Terrace have removed their fence and are now parking in their front garden. They do not have planning for this and have not paid to get the kerb dropped. They are following the example of the council tenant at No 17 who has also done this - without permission.

Parking in gardens at University Terrace, 17th August

Sat, 17 Aug 2013 21:00:35 +0100
56.213579 -2.732743

Council tenants are continuing to park in their gardens. The letters that were sent by the Council have been totally ignored. The worst offenders are still the owner of the huge transit that extends over the pavement when 'parked' in their garden and the tenant opposite who does not drive / own a vehicle but still had two cars in his garden. This 'off street parking' extends the whole width of the garden and ensures that two to three potential car parking spaces are now unavailable. As the two aforementioned persons are Fife Council Tenants I (and the rest of the neighbours) hoped that the Council could enforce reinstatement of gardens

Parking in council owned gardens, 23rd May

Thu, 23 May 2013 19:20:07 +0100
56.21316733168 -2.7339446440117

Two council tenants in University Avenue have created their own 'off street' parking by removing the council owned fence and spreading some gravel. One person parks a large white transit van which protrudes on to the pavement - wheelchair users and buggies have to walk on the road to pass. Opposite are two cars parked in the garden of a tenant who does not own a car or even drive. Neither of these tenants have paid to have the kerb dropped and it is still at full height.
