Reduced pavement width, 1st September
From 48 The Street, West Horsley to School Lane the pavement width is reduced by soil and weeds falling onto it from below the hedges.In some places it is now barely 1 foot wide. The pavements need the debris shovelled off and some of the hedges cut back. As I have had a hip replacement my daily walks with two crutches are restricted by these poor pavements necessitating walking in the road.

Broken pavement, 10th July
Some one, we presume SCC, came and cut down a very large ash tree on the verge on the east side of The Street in West Horsley. While doing so they dropped large branches on the pavement breaking up several areas. In fact much of this pavement is in poor condition and dangerously slopes down towards the road. Some of the other damage has been caused by lorries mounting the pavement.
