Unsafe parking, 9th February
Offstreet parking is very limited for residence 76 to 84 We have all been refused driveways for no valid reason, so therefore I need to highlight about offstreet parking and how unsafe it is to cross.
On top of this residence vehicles regularly get damaged with large vehicles using this as a cut through to Dorking Road and Evenings as a race track.
Residences need to cross the main road to be able to get to there house this is major blindspot for oncoming vehicles to spot pedestrians as vehicles literally park back-to-back.
Residence who have crossover driveways park all the way down the path which obstruct views for pedestrians to Cross. This is like death row with zero visibility There’s limited Street lighting. I have also contacted my local MP and counsellor about this.

Dangerous Junction since being reconfigured!!!, 26th January
Since this junction has been reconfigured it’s very very dangerous !!! Coming from headley road to turn onto pebble hill road we just witness THREE cars turn into headley from from pebble hill on our side of the road nearly causing a head on collision THREE times !!!!!!! This junction needs to be sorted and clearer signs or something to show people that they turn into the bit next to it and not into oncoming traffic !!!! And this is happening daily ! Whoever reconfigured this junction should be sacked !!!! Sort it out before you have a fatality !!!!!!!

SCC Failure to replace road signs following accident, 15th October
On 24/1/2022 I reported that two road signs had been demolished following an accident. Jake Ryan of SCC acknowledged it the next day saying it was in hand. As nothing had been done by 29/5/22 I emailed SCC to ask what was happening. On 1/6/22 Jay Goodwin of SCC said the signs were on order and would be installed in the next quarter. On 24/1/23 I again emailed to ask what was happening, no reply! There is still no road name sign or road narrows sign at this junction. It has now taken SCC 20 months to attend to this issue, what do you have to do to get things done?

Hedge encroaching into the road, 19th September
There’s only one section of Deans Lane that doesn’t have anywhere for people to walk on the pavement. And this area forces people to walk in the road. Car drivers are often in the middle of the road because they don’t want to scratch their cars, with pedestrians walking inches away from cars going too fast. The hedge needs to be cut back so people can walk without fear of their lives from being hit by a car

Degraded road surface, 27th June
The road surface is degraded and rutted on a downhill section just before a bend. It's a similar set of circumstances to those that led to the death of a cyclist on the other side of Headley a few years ago.
