This alleyway is were bins are kept by the local home /business owners, however as its is a discreet alleyway we find that sometimes over night non-residents have placed large refuse items by the bins. There is no way of tracing the culprits. It may well be some of the home/business owners but it is impossible to catch these individuals.

Council Signage, 5th April

Fri, 05 Apr 2024 08:51:05 +0100
51.36239 -0.276595

The council have erected signage in this area suggesting pavement works will begin on the 25th March... nobody has turned up! Surprise Surprise! As a council tax payer, I am just wondering what exactly I am paying you for! Refuse collection and making motorists lives hell! I've given up reporting potholls and damaged road surfaces because quite simply the whole area is a mess. You should all be sacked! Ashamed to be a British Citizen. Who broke Britain, the local councils did.

Mon, 01 Apr 2024 17:50:02 +0100

It's a shame some folk can't appear to drive properly because when they try to, they appear to dislodge these amazing kerb stones and either don't notice or don't care, thinking someone else will report it to have them reinstated. Oh, wait!

Uneven top layer of tarmac as broken off in many random places, 1st April

Mon, 01 Apr 2024 17:38:09 +0100
51.355037 -0.259283

The photographs do not do this section justice, nor can you really see what a delight this section of road is to cycle along (if you like being jolted from your seat and having to sway all over the road just to maintain a flattish surface) unless you have indeed cycled along it. From Sunnymede Avenue to Green Lanes, the thick top section of this road has broken up randomly causing an estuary of uneven rivulets and channels in the road surface filling your "safe" cycle with edge-of-the-saddle excitement and pain.

Deep flooding at entrance to cycle way, 1st April

Mon, 01 Apr 2024 17:14:08 +0100
51.355156 -0.265255

The drainage along this road at the entrance to the cycleway crossing into Plough Road is very poor. Water floods here right along the street and in the dark it's difficult to see what might be lying underneath and whether it is even safe to enter.
