Low trees overhanging the bridle path/byway, 31st January
There are some low, overhanging trees that make it difficult to use the path. I had to dismount and drag my horse through the leaves, then remount - he wasn’t happy! I had to do the same on the way back, but saw a runner, who was heading to the site to saw it down. He was about 6’, but my horse and I are probably 9’, so not sure he would be able to clear much!! Hope you can help!

Large tree fallen across the bridle path, 31st January
There is a large tree that is blocking the bridle path. My horse and I managed to jump it, but no photos available, as we were on our way back from a long hack and running on adrenaline/hanging on for life! Smaller horses/ponies would not be able to get by.

SCC Failure to replace road signs following accident, 15th October
On 24/1/2022 I reported that two road signs had been demolished following an accident. Jake Ryan of SCC acknowledged it the next day saying it was in hand. As nothing had been done by 29/5/22 I emailed SCC to ask what was happening. On 1/6/22 Jay Goodwin of SCC said the signs were on order and would be installed in the next quarter. On 24/1/23 I again emailed to ask what was happening, no reply! There is still no road name sign or road narrows sign at this junction. It has now taken SCC 20 months to attend to this issue, what do you have to do to get things done?

Collected rubbish, 24th June
Hi,
During our walk we collected quite a lot of rubbish thrown away by irresponsible people. We left it conveniently by the road, for us walkers we couldn't find any close bin to bin it.

Dangerous pothole just after the rise in the road., 6th April
Pothole approximately 12" wide, 18" long, 4" deep on left hand side of Northbound carriageway just after the road rises, so drivers and cyclists are unsighted until it can be too late to avoid the pothole. Big enough to cause vehicle damage or a cyclist to fall off their bike. NB: many cyclists use this road, as it was on the 2012 Olympic Race route.

Missing road surface and two potholes, 28th February
This is a very poor partial repair - you have an obligation to maintain and repair and this is neither. It still constitutes a hazard being on a steep hill and a blind bend
