For 50 yards either side of my marker on the Downside road going South are at least 6 deep potholes in the edge of the road. The road is too narrow to avoid them if traffic is approaching in the other direction.

Fairly deep pothole to the right of the centre of L2 Southbound, 15th February
Hard to see pothole around old markings and broke. Road surface near the overpasses at Cobham, A3 Southbound Lane 2. Right in like with the offside wheels of a car, nothing you can do to avoid when other vehicles are either side. Has caused a bulge in my NSF tyre sidewall.

Illegal fake road traffic sign showing incorrect speed limit, 13th February
A resident has affixed a fake 20mph speed sign to wheelie bins in the marked location, which are highly visible to drivers using Cobham roundabout.
While this is illegal I would not object if it were displaying the correct sped limit. But displaying a purported 20mph limit when the actual speed limit is 30mph is likely to confuse drivers and is therefore dangerous. Also as a principle, speed limits should be decided by the proper authorities and not residents attempting to take the law into their own hands.

Road not signposted for going straight and turning, 15th January
The Painshill Park Roundabout coming from Bylfeet Road towards Cobham needs better signage since the work on the A3. It has always been that the left hand lane is for going straight ahead to Cobham and the right hand lane turns right to head towards joining the A3. Cars are now using both lanes to go straight and turn right and it is causing very near miss collisions and a lot of angst at this junction. Please can clear signage be put up indicating which lanes go where. Thank you

Rubbish down the alley and at the garages that link Northfield Road to Wyndham Avenue, 8th January
Rubbish/fly tipping has been dumped by the garages leading off Wyndham Avenue and so much rubbish down the alleyway too! It would be good if the alleyway was a regular tidying spot as often parents from the school pick up rubbish, glass, dog poo that gets left there Th fly tipping has been an issue for at least a week, the dirty alley is a constant issue

Large pot hole on east bound exit - very dangerous, 31st December
I have no idea how long the pot hole has been in existence. As i exited eastbound towards m23 south from the Cobham services at approximately 1020pm on 30/12/23 i struck a large pothole on the 2nd roundabout out of the services the one which leads to the tunnel. i pulled into the redlined area in the tunnel to check my tyres, no obvious damage though i'm sure the car has suffered wishbone issues and the hubs are damaged. Due to the position of the pothole, time of night and fact i was travelling home from a Luton flight i was too knackered to go back round to photo the pothole, plus i'd be risking my life stopping anywhere near and walking in the dark. This pothole will definitely soon cause accidents and probably injury/death.

40mph no longer can be viewed on road, 21st December
Speed sign knocked sideways to carriageway Reported via desktop in the Road traffic signs category by David Williams at 17:32, Sun 13 February 2022 (Hide your name?)
Sent to Surrey County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3308743.
Photo of this reportzoom Damaged 40mph road sign, not causing an obstruction. This sign is facing completely the wrong way – I have tried moving it but it is rusted in position. Given the speeds on this road the more reminders the better. I look forward to you re-positioning this sign. It’s long overdue. Many thanks David Williams.

Overhanging Branches., 24th October
There are several bushes that have overhanging branches that are encrouching on the pavement. This would cause people to walk into the road. Buggies could not walk past without children getting branches hitting their face. Anyone partially sighted would have problems too...

Tree has become too large and roots making pavement dangerous, 24th October
The Lime tree opposite 14 Dabernon Drive has become too large and the roots are causing the pavement to be broken, uneven and hazardous. Curb stones are being dislodged. The overhanging branches into 14 Dabernon Drive are dropping sap that causes damage to parked cars. Please arrange for the tree to be properly pollarded back to a size more compatible with its location and minimise impact on local residents. It requires more than just branches being trimmed back as these quickly become over grown again. This situation is causing a nuisance and impacting residents day to day wellbeing. Thank you for your kind and supportive response to this cry for help.
