Road Condition, 21st January
Hi I have already been in touch regarding the condition of the road outside the Killoch coal area. The road is still filthy obscuring lineage plus the fact it has faded. Water seems to be coming down the slope from the site entrance onto the A70 thus carrying yet more filth onto the road. There should a drain on the slope to catch this filth which is polluting the road and every car which passes in damp conditions. If you inspect it you will see the dirt all over the road thick on the edges making it impossible to see the edge in poor light and if it's wet or damp your car if pelted with this filth making you lose your visual orientation of the road. The issue is all over the road. I know the cats eye's were to be replaced but this is not enough there is a duty of care with the council and whoever owns the site causing this problem. I look forward to your comments.
Thanks Lynsay

Road Condition, 28th November
The area of road at the Killoch area is constantly filthy with coal dust causing a potential accident as when wet it's all over your windscreen and it's thick all over the road. The street sweeper which is used makes no difference only spreads the issue about. The road lines are obscured with dust and in a worn condition and when it's wet and dark very difficult to see. I am constantly having to wash my car as it is coated in this filth. The trucks should be completely washed before entering the A70 to stop this issue.

Dirty roadway, 14th April
Roadway eastbound is exceptionally dirty due to coal dust deposited by the many heavy lorries which use this site. Road does not appear to be cleaned frequently enough. Consequently, noticeable deposits are left on private vehicles each time this site is passed.
