Pothole, 19th November
There's a sizeable pothole on the Southbound sliproad onto the A12. It's big enough to cause damage to vehicles, especially since they will have gathered nearly enough speed to join the main trunk road as they reach this point.
The slip road consists of two lanes. The pothole is in the right-hand lane (the lane that vehicles must use to join the A12 towards Colchester).

Column 449 exposed electrical equipment, 2nd June
I reported that the access door was missing from lighting column 449 on 13 April 2023 with your reference 4436460; your response was that you have notified your electrical service team who will investigate the matter. I have looked at the column today and the access door is still missing. The case is closed therefore it must be the case that your electrical service team have inspected the column and they consider exposed electrical equipment is acceptable but if that is the case please explain why money is being wasted by purchasing access doors for columns generally across the country. Please respond

Indiscernible footpath, 28th May
Footpath No. 34 on the Suffolk County Council - Capel St Mary definitive map runs across two fields. Both have been planted with crops and the footpath across them is indiscernible. Also, a hedge has been planted along the track which divides the two fields and across the footpath. Once the hedge grows, this will form a physical barrier across the footpath. This footpath forms a direct link between the two villages of Capel St Mary and East Bergholt.
