FIXMYSTREET IN IP8 4NJ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of IP8 4NJ:
Water leak, 1st April
For most of the time water is rising up from the high point of the road and running down and pooling at the low point of the road at the blind bend. Yesterday, the water covered the whole width of the road. This issue has been ongoing for a year or more. It is particularly bad at the moment, but was also problematic last year, even during hot and dry periods. Sorry, no pictures, as not really safe to stop and take them on a narrow blind bend.

Badly maintained road, 22nd December
The road is called the stone and was flailed by a local farmer recently. Since the work has been carried out half broken branches have been falling in the lane and obstructing the road. Locals and myself included have had to remove these branches. There is also a lot of trees that have been badly damaged and will now slowly rot and decline as a result and in the near future break off into the lane. This is a time where we should all be looking after nature and not vandalising it like this. This needs sorting asap before any vehicles or pedestrians get hurt as a result. The culprit should also be made to fix this and learn how to use their equipment properly or get another job.

Unsafe gravel on the corner, 26th October
A large amount of gravel has been left behind following the recent floods & in particular is causing a major concern on the corner highlighted on the map.
On two occasions now I have almost lost control of my vehicle, at low speed, due to the gravel causing it to slip.
This morning on my way into work I witnessed a vehicle, with the front smashed up, being collected from this very corner which I have assumed is as a result of the gravel & the hazard that is currently present.
Please could the roads be cleared to avoid any further accidents & reduce the risk of injury.

Inconsiderate Parking on a Junction, 12th May
This car continually parks at this junction but seemingly the car is not remotely close to the kerb. There are other cars like it too and the owners don't appear to live in the houses opposite but round on the Bellway side of the estate. I'm not convinced the driver has a license and I have seen them several times unable to park or performing dangerous manoeuvres

Large Concrete Blocks positioned across right of way, 4th April
Two large concrete blocks have been placed across Blue Barn lane which allows access from Little Blakenham to Gt Blakenham and visa versa. I live in Little Blakenham and have walked this path for 53 years (i am 60 this year) and so can remember when it was a road for the cement lorries from the quarry. Whilst it still allows access for pedestrians those with pushchairs and wheelchairs are now unable to get through the small gap.
