Three bulls in this field which has a popular public footpath crossing it. "Section 59 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 bans bulls of recognised dairy breeds (eg Ayrshire, Friesian, Holstein, Dairy Shorthorn, Guernsey, Jersey and Kerry) in all circumstances from being at large in fields crossed by public rights of way.
Bulls of all other breeds are also banned from such fields unless accompanied by cows or heifers, but there are no specific prohibitions on other cattle. “Fields” in this legislation do not include areas such as open fell or moorland.
Section 3 of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 requires employers and the self-employed to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, they do not put members of the public at risk by their work activities. This applies to keeping bulls or other cattle in fields."

Speeding motorists, 21st June
This year more than any has seen a sharp rise with speeding motorists and has resulted in many animals being killed : cats, hedgehogs, hares, ducks, pheasants, moorhens being mowed down. I would at least like some so slow down signs or something to try to calm the manics down. Thank you

Road sign has come off post, 10th January
On B1078 the large warning chevron sign has come off its posts and is laying on the ground on very sharp bend in road.

Road surface failing, 15th January
The new top dressing road surface is losing all of its chipping - it was only applied last summer (August 2014) - I'd be getting the contractors back there is obviously something wrong with the way it was applied. As it is the road is now polished surface patches and big heaps of lose chipping - lethal on a bike! Problem is between junction at GR 012517 to junction at GR 023523
