Late night closure of A14 eastbound. Incorrect diversion signage, 12th October
On leaving A14, due to roadworks closure, the 'diversion' sign directed me back to the A14 westwards. I disregarded this, followed my nose and eventually ended up at the woolpit roundabout, together with several vehicles following me ! It took about half an hour, I was completely lost. My Daughter followed your sign, was also lost but ended up back in Bury at midnight. Please can your sign erectors be given better instruction.

Dangerous verge erosion, 18th December
Park Road is a narrow, increasingly busy, rural road, wide enough in places for only one vehicle to pass. At the dangerous, sharp, blind bend adjacent to Whitefield House the verge has been eroded by more frequent use and larger vehicles. This is reducing the verge width and may soon affect the boundary hedge of Whitefield House. This erosion has uncovered the unmade road surface below, and is causing deep ruts which may adversely affect the handling of vehicles on this blind bend. The long-term solution to the erosion and ruts may be kerbing or reflective posts.
