FIXMYSTREET IN IP29 5HJ
The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of IP29 5HJ:
Can’t see to turn right at junction, 15th October
Coming from Chevington to t-junction at Hargrave the trees/hedge to the left is so overgrown that if you want to turn right you have to pull onto the road to enable you to see what is coming from the left. This is less than ideal especially when I do it the double decker bus that does the school run is often around at the same time. I have no idea who the landowner is and it is the most overgrown it has been in the last 10-12 years.

Flooding on a blind bend., 14th December
When it rains hard enough or long enough the road floods across one carriageway and can get right across the road if bad enough. Presumably because of blocked ditches? It is particularly dangerous as it is on a blind bend and forces traffic onto the wrong side of the road.

Overgrown hedge at t junction, 15th October
Each morning, coming from Chevington turning right on this road I cannot see to my left when it is safe to pull out. The junction is on a slight bend but what is exacerbating this is the very overgrown hedge to my left. I have to ensure that there is no traffic to my right, then slowly inch forward into the road to be able to see left. I was almost hit by a car this morning due to this maneouvre. It has never been the easiest turning but the hedge is making it more difficult. What would help is a mirror so all motorists turning right can see what is coming from the left. It is a 30 mph zone but unfortunately traffic is sometimes going quite quickly and it is becoming more dangerous.

Overgrown Hedge, 18th June
Hedge has been allowed to grow for years without cutting back. Has now restricted road to not much more than single carriageway. I always now have to pull over if meeting anything larger than another car.
