Water running down road., 7th December
A large volume of water is running down the west side of Coalpit Lane as far as the railway line. This consistently happens after heavy rain and presumably is caused by a blocked ditch or drain. The volume is enough to force cars into oncoming traffic and when icy it freezes to make the road treacherous.

A number of deep potholes on entry to this road which is main entry to car park, 10th April
Potholes are getting deeper over the months due to heavy traffic and the width of the road and closeness to pond where ducks are continually crossing the road causes vehicles to drop into potholes and potential wheel/tyre damage

Cast iron gulley / grate broken., 18th April
Previously the frame had come loose in the tarmac and this was fixed but immediately after the grate within the frame broke and this has now fallen in leaving a gaping hole.

Lack of road markings, 13th February
Now that Barrow village is so large this road from the A11 is so busy and it is hazardous especially when dark and I feel that the provision of cats' eyes would be beneficial. Traffic speeds along the route often using full beam which makes travelling in opposite direction a nightmare.

Approx 250m of road has broken up, 22nd April
Church road ip295ax between the primary school and the pond on the corner has heavy traffic during school drop off and collection. The local post office is down the road and elderly people are afraid to use the road due to the kerbs sticking out and Tarmac breaking away. This has created rubble on the road which can be flicked up by the cars and may hit the children walking to school. Urgent attention required.

Pot hole around/beside drain-cover., 19th April
Broken road surface (pothole) beside and around cast iron drain cover opposite Brittons Road pond in The Street. When raining it is hidden by a large puddle as I suspect the road damage has broken the drain across the road into the pond. Although on the edge of the road it is close to the Traffic Calming and causes vehicles to swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid it.

Dangerous, large, potholes, 22nd March
Two enormous potholes plus area of broken road surface. One is full of water and is the size and depth of a lake - extremely dangerous, especially in the dark. Both were marked with traffic cones when I passed but there's no guarantee they will stay there.

The Street - Blocked surface water drain(s), 11th January
The water builds up on the road outside house numbers 42 and 43. There is a surface water drain that feeds into the pond opposite that is constantly blocked. The water builds up to dangerous levels. Passing pedestrians are put in danger by water splashing onto the footpath from passing vehicles.

Dangerous, large, pothole., 2nd October
Large pothole, on the pond side of the road. It has been partly filled once but is still dangerous - it fills with water and, as it is under trees, is almost invisible in the dark plus, being a large pothole on a narrow road it extends half way across the lane.
