Massive pothole in middle of the road, 24th December
Hit this pothole yesterday and added it to someone’s post but apparently it needs reporting separately. This previously bodged road repair cost me half a day of messing around yesterday and now have a car off the road for a week. This hole is very dangerous and needs filling immediately before a motorcyclist hits it.

The State of our Cross Roads, 19th November
We have safety railings at the cross roads which are in the centre of our village. People need to continually cross this junction, including children to and from school. These barriers are continually being damaged usually by those driving too fast. The time taken to repair these is totally unacceptable as while they are damaged they may as well not be there at all, in fact they are even more dangerous. One section has been damaged since at least June of this year and now the temporary barriers have blown down people are crossing the road through the gap at a very dangerous point. Even more dangerous is the central reservation on the Thetford side of the A1066. This was demolished and reported in August. It now offers no protection whatsoever for children and others trying to cross. Wednesday 13th November I was crossing at about 8.30 am when a car came through at least 90 mph. I know it is easy to over estimate the speed but I am confident of this estimate. I was shaken up and can't forget it. Our Community Speed watch group are doing their best and often monitor this road with excessive speed being reported. This is an accident waiting to happen and I am wondering who will be liable when it occurs?
