I hit tge pothole on 3/3/2024 at Approx 5.45pm. It caused both on of my nearside tyres to bust leaving me stranded on the side of the road in a very dangerous place which resulted in police attendance to avoid further accidents from passing traffic. The result is two new tyres costing a total £325

Deep and wide pothole on the edge of the road, 21st February
Driving Diss bound there is a very deep pothole that cannot be avoided when there is on coming traffic. It has been there for a good few months and is getting larger.

Multiple pot holes, 24th January
The whole A140 from A14 to A47 junction North and South bound have multiple pot holes of varying sizes so you have to keep changing side of lane you use to avoid them

Both drains either side of the road outside bottle cottages blocked, severely adding to the flooding problem that is already there and every time it rains!!!

Water gushing up through drain and lid coming loose, 21st December
As per the summary but I have reported this to both Norfolk Council and Anglian Water. Anglian Water have said that this drain is not one of their assets and that it belongs to the Highways Agency. I've tried to report this on the Highways Agency page and they have said that they do not cover this area.

2 x Street Lights Not Working, 31st October
There is a street light on the corner of Bungay Road and Norwich road and a post next to it between Beech Croft and St Edmunds not working along the foot path. Because of the distance of the other street lamps it is very dark on the path and that corner

Dangerous hazard, 25th October
A large build up of sand has been left in the middle of the road along the series of bends, these are extremely hazardous for motorcycles and could easily result in an accident.

Severely damaged road surface, 6th July
The road surface here has degraded to such an extent that it is very bumpy, full of potholes and some loose material and is a danger on a well used junction. I am a keen cyclist regularly using this route and to try and negotiate this at any speed above walking pace is dangerous and grip will be lost. I have already had one puncture here. It is an accident waiting to happen and is a disgrace. Please fix this before the autumn frosts. The road surface has been deteriorating for a very long while.

Large pothole on side of the road just before bridge, 28th May
This pothole has been there for around 2 months and is just before the bridge. If there is oncoming traffic on the bridge, it can be possible to be forced into this pothole which is >6” deep.

Large pothole, 26th May
This pothole is on the roundabout and where it is situated means cars exiting the roundabout to travel south on the A140 hit it constantly. Could cause a serious accident especially if it by a motorcycle.
