Potholes in 'dip' across road., 16th February
Reported 'trench' which traverses road some time ago but told not an issue. This is now developing potholes across the carriageway which will become a major issue. Cars swerve to avoid. Looks like it was dug for services, not sure which. This stretch of road is full of patches. Not sure why area from Wash Lane to beyond Galloway's coaches was never fully resurfaced when the rest of Old Station Road was done some years ago.

The road is lethally slippery, in summer its like glass in winter its an ice hazzard, 6th July
This road needs resurfacing, in the heat it is so slippery its like glass and in the winter its so slippery that its lethal. Please could you resurface the part near the houses if you can't do all of the road before someone gets hurt. My horse has road nails in and she slipped over and has taken all the skin of her leg. I've watched kids on bikes where the bike has slipped from underneath them because its so slippery.

Cover for some sort of pipe/drain??? loose/not attatched, 7th April
Was on a walk earlier and noticed some sort of metal drain cover sort of thing. Was not screwed into ground but noticed that there was some sort of pipe in a pipe underneath it. Not really sure what this is but am slightly concerned that a small animal may decide it is a nice place to go in and get stuck.
Anyone know if this is of significance??? Was on grassy bit off road (entrance to a field that a footpath goes through)

Overgrown footpaths, 9th June
This has been a problem for at least the 6 years I we have lived in the area. Every summer this footpath becomes completely overgrown with tall grass, nettles and thistles; it is impassible (especially with children) Who's responsibility is it for maintaining this public right of way to ensure that it is safe? Farmer who's land it skirts round or the councils. Either way, I have reported this year on year but still nothing is ever done. We live in a rural area yet we cannot take advantage of these public rights of way in the summer.
