The worst of many along the stretch from Brockford Street southbound just past Hill House. Very deep and potentially damaging to vehicles and difficult to avoid with oncoming traffic.

Tree preservation order application, 5th April
Yew tree, estimated to be around 270 yrs old , trunk has a 9ft diameter, given the age of the tree and the wildlife it supports I believe it to be a national treasure and it would be a great loss to see it cut down or have some of the branches cut off by our new chainsaw happy landlord. Robins, blue tits, great tits, spotted flycatchers, goldfinches, chaffinches, treecreepers have all used this tree to nest in or as a source of food. I used to climb this tree regularly as a child, had a tree house in it too. Located in the garden of 2 turnpike cottages ip14 5ns right hand side of of the back garden, come round have alook, might be other trees you'd like to preserve their too

Large amount of fly tipping on side of road from Wickham Skeith to Thwaite and A140. Reported early this morning (27/03/22) by our newspaper delivery man. Not visited or photographed yet. Includes large amount of hedging apparently

Badly overgrown pavement alongside A140 no longer wide enough to walk dogs or negotiate with a pushchair without sleeping into the highway, 19th July
Very high banks gradually encroach onto pavement, reducing its width by up to half. In addition vegetation on the bank is so overgrown and further reduces the width of the pavement. We have dogs and can only walk them by stepping onto the highway for much of the way, which is extremely dangerous. The overgrown vegetation also impedes visibility for vehicles pulling onto the A140 from Cedars Hill. Oncoming traffic is dangerously close before it becomes visible unless you pull onto the road add to this the tendency for vehicles to speed through there, it seems only a matter of time before there is an accident there.

Flytipping hotspot, 8th August
A ground water site where it’s easy for people to pull in and flytipp. Several bin bags, partly in the river and today on a walk noticed several shopping bags full of bottles left at the same location.

Water from drainage or mains leak flowing onto the road, 17th February
This has been an issue for many months now so reporting it. The water is running down the road at a steady flow! There is also a lot of soil and mud on the road where the water carries it into the road right on the junction where the A140 and Cedars Hill meet. This is a safety issue as vehicles can lose traction when pulling out of Cedars Hill onto the A140. Unknown if this is a drainage or water mains leak but the water has been flowing out of the side of the road for days and days.

20inch pot hole on right of lane, 1st January
This pothole has been there for over two months, reported when they were smaller and haven't been fixed so they have grown. There are several others on the same lane as well.

Road regularly flooded, 20th January
The road floods regularly, this could be prevented by digging the ditches deeper on the side of the road. Or just clearing the ditches of debris. Under road drainage would help in at least one location as water flows across the road from one side to the other.
