Despite several reports to Suffolk Highways since January 2021 these have not yet been repaired (or only partially and pretty ineffectively repaired) so are getting nearly impossible to deviate around, compounding the problem.

Light flashing on top of green box, 25th February
This is outside 7 The Maples, IP13 7DR. Started flashing at around 3am this morning (unable to capture the flashing on a photo) keeping the house awake. Our windows are mainly on this side of the house and as we are rural and have no street lights it is quite dazzling through them as it gets darker.
Thought I better report incase this was an alarm of some sort.

Bird scarers, 22nd November
I have lived here for 18 years and for the first time last year local Farmers have started to develop using gas-fired very noisy bird-scarers in most of the surrounding fields. This has proliferated in the last few weeks with the early growth appearing of Rape which allegedly suffers from much pigeon or other bird predation; I have raised this issue with my local district Councillor for whom I collected background detail in mid 2008. The farmers are seemingly quite contemptuous of the NFU Guidelnes relating to birdscarers. The noise is unabated all day, INCLUDING Sundays (!!) and some even go off after dark which is perfectly ridiculous. If this was me letting off Fireworks I'd rightly be open to prosecutuion.
It is a County-wide issue and one which needs addressing. Living with this noise reminds me of film of being close to the Western Front in the first world war.
