Why only some potholes fixed?, 10th September
B1079 had a whole series of potholes where about 40mm depth of surfacing had eroded. I was pleased to see that many had been marked with yellow paint. About a third of the potholes have been repaired but why oh why have the rest been ignored. Clearly a work team has been active but they're left the work unfinished. This is very dangerous for bikers.

Extensive loss of Surfacing Course, 4th May
On Woodbridge Road, Grundisburgh for several hundred metres south of the junction with Half Moon Road, The surfacing course has disintegrated for large extents, particularly in the wheel tracks. This causes vehicles to manoeuvre towards the centre of the carriageway trying to find a path of intact surfacing course. The surfacing course over serveral hundred metres of carriageway needs to be replaced. The underlying binder course appears to currently be in good condition although now that it is being trafficked will start to deteriorate. No photographs as there is no safe pedestrian access on this stretch of road.
