Poorly repaired potholes, 12th April
As I reported when Hawthorn Road was patched,last autumn ,already the holes are reappearing. On the bend halfway down the lane, 2 holes have reappeared. No doubt we will have to wait another 2 years like last time to hopefully get some action.

Numerous large potholes/road collapses, 21st February
The road between Muir of Ord and the Industrial estate turn off, has numerous holes/drain collapse and Road subsidences on both sides. If travelling at night or in wet conditions, striking one of these holes will cause damage to both cars and cyclists. It is very dangerous now

Speed limit signs moved, 7th February
The 20mph sign allied with a 30 mph backing situated outside the Muir garage has been turned sideways by hooligans so that motorists may be unaware of the 20 limit on entering Muir of Ord. May I suggest that the signs are moved to a height that these hooligans cannot reach.

20mph sign turned round, 8th January
The 20mph sign opposite Muir of Ord ESSO garage has been turned round. This means that motorists entering Muir of Ord from Conon do not slow down and continue driving too fast towards the bridge and into the village.

20 metre road breakdown, 29th January
A strip of tarmac approx 20 metres long and .5 metre wide towards the side of Balvaird Road is breaking up badly. It is a strip that was to facilitate to access pipe work or services. Repeated rain followed by frost is causing breakup of the road. If 2 vehicles are passing each other one of them is forced onto this strip which will no doubt eventually cause damage and possibly an accident.

Major Hole, 20th November
This was reported nearly 1year ago, it is now getting so large it’s almost impossible to avoid. Along with about 6 or 7 other potholes it seems that no action is ever going to be taken. Along with my two neighbours at the top of the road we have on 3 occasions filled these holes with ballast but it only last a week or so.

Parking on grass areas., 10th November
Various residents of Highfield Circle, Muir of Ord have taken to destroying the grass areas by parking Vans, cars and tractors on our verges. We are trying to tidy the village up, please help by using any powers available to stop this unsociable behavior.

Lack of signage, bad signed and no road markings, 3rd October
A serious accident occurred at the meeting point of the A832 and Seaforth Road by Munro's butchers on one side and the Tarradale Hotel on Black Isle Road. Police, paramedics and ambulances attended. Locals advised that it is an accident blackspot and a very difficult junction. The road sweeps sharply to the left at this point and yet there is a confusing traffic light sign on the corner and virtually no road markings to define the centre of the road. Clear broken white line markings would indicate the route and a sign before the junction showing that the road veered to the left would give notice that the road does not carry on straight ahead, which would be particularly helpful to people who are not familiar with the road. Drivers with local knowledge often indicated both left or right, which is straight on, to make their intentions clear a the junction. Despite the dangers of this junction a bus coming out of the road at the side of the Tarradale Hotel had to do a 3 point turn just to get his/her bus around the bend. Could the pavements be redesigned to avoid this dangerous manoeuvre?

6inch deep 12 inches long pothole, 21st May
These two holes are appearing in a patched part of the road. The main hole is over 6 inches deep and very dangerous if full of rainwater could be driven over. Again this is in the line of the near side wheel of motor vehicles
