Unsafe traffic management, 2nd October
MacDairmaid School traffic not signal controlled and feed out into the middle of a traffic light controlled roadwork section on the A850. 2 cars nearly had head on at school drop off and a few more at school pick up. No way of joining traffic to know when the light is green! Shocking but what do you expect from Highland Council.

Dangerous “road” surface, 30th March
A850 between Tote junction and Macdiarmid School junction is in a dangerous condition with widespread potholes over 80mm deep in places. For a main 60mph A road this is unacceptable and has been like this for weeks with no intervention from the council. The least you can do is put out some warning signage rather than burying your heads in the sand and hoping this goes away. Someone is going to get hurt or god forbid killed and it will be on HCs head.

A line of potholes on BOTH sides of the road getting deeper every day over a length of about 400 yards. Deep potholes on a fast corner WILL cause an accident sooner or later.
