Urgent: Noisy and Unstable Manhole Report, 30th March
The manhole cover is extremely noisy and rattles frequently. It poses a safety risk and causes significant distress to residents. As I live very close to this manhole, the loud noise continues to wake up my newborn, disrupting our sleep and well-being. I kindly request that the local council address this issue promptly by securing or repairing the manhole cover.

Bad pothole down Pudding Lane in Chigwell, 25th March
A bad pothole down Pudding Lane in Chigwell - (report received on 21st March 2024) this particular one is roughly 300 yards from the Abridge Road A113 - I was en route to BMW Sytner for a routine free vehicle work, and in hitting this pothole as the traffic was busy both ways my entire front left side tyre blew out, causing damage and stresses in getting to the garage.

Many very large damaging potholes, 15th March
These potholes on the whole road to the David Lloyd Leisure centre have now become dangerous. Cars are having to take risks especially on the bend to avoid them and to avoid tyres and wheels being damaged. It has been too long.

Lane closure, 5th March
The roadworks on Chigwell Lane that have been carried out by Thames Water were completed on 04/03/24. The site has been cleared except for signs and cones which are blocking off a carriageway. This causes massive tailbacks. No one seems to care about this, why? Get the cones shifted.

3 potholes with 20 metres, 23rd January
3 potholes within a 20 metre stretch of road. All roughly the same size. About about 5 centimetres deep and 20 centimetres across. I first noticed them about a week ago but they could have been there longer as I had not used that road for a few weeks.

Large old tree fallen from Metropolitan Police Ground onto Chigwell High Road. The tree is covering the whole road across to High Meas. Two cars have already driven into it as it’s hard to see (dark road)., 2nd January

4 inch deep pothole, 17th November
Approximately 4 inch deep pothole. Also 4 inch in width and length. Pothole is part of a collapsed section of the road that runs from kerb to the middle of the road which was repaired some months ago but which has since collapsed again.

Overgrown vegetation at start of M11, Jct 5 south, 5th November
Overgrown vegetation severely restricts visibility of merging vehicles. I have personally witnessed one accident caused by this neglected safety issue. This has been a problem since COVID, but with with reduced traffic it wasn't too much of an issue, however with traffic patterns back to normal levels it needs sorting out.

"keep clear" road signage needs repainting, 1st November
"Keep clear" road signage at the junction of Oakwood Hill and Southview Road has faded badly and vehicles waiting for the traffic lights block the junction so cars cant turn right into Southview Road

Multiple eholes and bad road surface along the hole road, 14th October
The potholes along this road approaching David Lloyd Chigwell have been there for over two years and the road surface is horrendous for a public pathway. I'm surprised nothing has been done about this and it's a matter of time before a vehicle is badly damaged.
