Who ever designed the road layout at these lights needs sacking, who chose to put the lane to go straight ahead on the same lane as the one that goes right, when vehicle are turning right and can't go, it's holding all the vehicles behind up as they can't get passed, yet the left hand lane is empty.

Yellow lines have never been correct down Folkestone st., 19th March

Tue, 19 Mar 2024 09:44:04 +0000
53.761915 -0.348234

Since the street was made one way years ago they never put enough yellow lines down at the street end you enter in. This is getting gridlocked now as people are being daft at parking there. Sculcoates is a busy road and to try and get round some nights due to it been dangerous is bad. It’s not good for pedestrians either. The other end of the street also needs looking at as there are too many yellow lines. It’s like they got the 2 ends confused when making the street one way. The yellows on the corner are a joke too. People park on them. If an emergency vehicle needed to get round they wouldn’t be able to. I struggle getting a car round.

Parking on double yellows, 2nd March

Sat, 02 Mar 2024 08:25:42 +0000
53.771635 -0.318148

Two vehicles persistently parks on double yellows. This usually blocks the pavement to get on to the road. Which means I have to walk on the grass with my baby who isn’t fully steady on his feet. This also blocks a pathway for elderly down the street.

Parking on double yellow lines & obstructing private driveways, 27th February

Tue, 27 Feb 2024 15:52:41 +0000
53.771191 -0.356362

Every weekday at round 3:30pm parents come to collect their children from the local school. They park their cars down Philip Larkin Close. The top of Philip Larkin Close has double yellow lines to ensure emergency vehicles can gain access (its a narrow street). But parents park on the double yellow lines regardless. They also park so that they are obstructing private driveways. Something they park in a driveway if they think the occupants are away. Sometimes they'll park on the pavement, completely blocking access for pedestrians. This has been going on for months and it's only getting worse. All it needs it for a traffic warden to attend every now and then. Thanks

Unusable main footpath, 15th February

Thu, 15 Feb 2024 21:57:13 +0000
53.782908 -0.344429

This is the third time I’ve reported this path it’s disgustingly over grown that much that they is less than a foot left of the foot path visible and your forced to walk/ push prams through the soft soggy mud to the extent that they is now a mud path through the grass. These need cutting down all they do is collect rubbish and grow out of hand and are never tended too!

This is now the third time of reporting this!, 15th February

Thu, 15 Feb 2024 21:47:08 +0000
53.784187 -0.338284

They are conifer trees, ivy and foliage bushes overhanging considerably into the footpath to the point were you have to duck and dodge them to make your way down the footpath to drop kids off at the school, mud and bush debris all over the footpath causing it to be slippery and with autumn coming only going to get worse! Footpath is the cut throw between littendale to nidderdale. The full path is discussing more so that it’s used loads for small children to go to school. Foot path in picture is highlighted in red, bushes in question are in yellow, (one hatched in red has been done!) the path as at least to the school is just badly kept in general. Covered in dog muck, I don’t like to complain… but its bushes…. If it ain’t done in a week I’ll go with my own chainsaw and chop them down! It’s disgusting that kids can use the path safely to and from school, it’s discussing that people like the owners/occupiers of I believe to be no.39 it’s a mess
