Cement has been cleaned out of a wheelbarrow in two locations on the lane also.

8 inch poyhole at the top of Fenay Bridge road just on Wakefield road, 7th November
There is a large pothole at the top of Fenay Bridge road as it meets Wakefield Road. As cars try to avoid the hole it could potentially cause an accident as cars travel faster on Wafefield Road. This needs filling as soon as possible, there is a smaller pothole about 2M away.

Overhanging vegetation on footpath, 20th June
Between Pond Lane and Lydgate opposite the petrol station the footpath is almost impassable due to bushes extending over the whole pavement. The situation is made worse as you can't step into the road as it is so busy that you would be in danger of an accident. I don't know if it is the council's responsibility or the owner of the hedge but something needs to be done about as it's a major hazard to walkers.

Manhole surround disintegrating, 20th June
The manhole cover on the first bend of wakefield road above the roundabout at chimney lane is gradually eroding around it. It's right in the area that car tyres encounter as they round the bend on this busy road. Many drivers who know it's there veer either into the kerb or (worse) veer out over the white line as they approach to avoid it. Other drivers just swear as they run over it.

Van that is frequently parking and blocking pavement. Very busy road and often impossible to get pushchair past without having to go on to the road., 17th April
Having reappeated problems with this van. It is frequently (most days for long periods) parked completely on the pavement area. The location is on Penistone Road outside number 93. It is impossible to get a pushchair or wheelchair past on the pavement without having to go on to the road. The road is very busy and the the location being on a bend it makes the situation more hazardous. I'm not too sure how to rectify. We left a polite note on the windscreen last week but this has been ignored.
