Travelling towards the A40 south my car hit a large pothole causing significant damage to one of my tyres which I have to get replaced at a significant cost.

Hole in footbridge over stream, 11th March
A hole has opened on the footbridge. This currently is an issue for dogs and young children. It will become an issue for all walkers if it gets bigger, or if the wood has aready beome rotten.

Dropped drain, 26th February
This drain has been dropped for quite some time. Its been reported (twice by me) the repair is inadequate. To pore more tarmac around the drain will not solve the issue. The drain needs to be brought up to the same level as the road. How many tyres, springs, track rod ends, ball joints & drive shafts does someone have to replace, before a job is done properly?

Cracks on edge of riad, 22nd February
A crack along the edge of the road-Meeks Well Lane-(merit.genius.bring) opposite Tan-y-Fron, needs fixing before it becomes a major problem. The road is already closed further along and this crack needs attention to avoid further major expense in the future if left.

There is a long crack in the road -Meeks Well Lane-by the fence above Vixens Hollow.(hippy.joyously.though) In view of the closure of the road further along a repair at this stage would save a lot of expense in the future.

The tree line which separates the C1251 from the A40 is growing out and into the footway obstructing passage in some places. This tree line is the responsibility of national highways as it does not fall within the highway extent that Herefordshire council highways are responsible for. There are some deep potholes all the way up over yat rock and being single track in places they're hard to avoid. This is a very busy road and needs resurfacing urgently.
