Potholes and broken road surface, 16th April
In the last year this road floods in more places than it ever has done. Flooding now occurs more often in this one place on the road and the surface has Completly broken up. There are also many potholes. When the water is across the road, even a little bit it’s very dangerous to drive as you are unable to see any potholes and will cause damage to your vehicle

It’s manageable now, but after rain will be a mess. This field is huge and the farmer might have followed guidance and left the path, ploughing and planting both sides. Please remind the owner by phone call or email as I’m sure he or she is well intentioned.it’s part of Eardisland Memorial Walks and likely to be well used this Spring and Summer. VMT

Warning posts trashed, 13th April
Black and white plastic marker posts warn drivers not to cut the corner least they drop into the culvert emerging from under the road. A lorry has cut the corner so badly that it has driven clean over some of the posts and destroyed them. I have salvaged some of the bits and stuck them up in the mud - but new posts, properly erected, are needed.
