Drainage problem at Legions Cross on the Lower Hardwick lane when you turn off A44k, 8th February
The bottom of this lane is in a dip and although there is a drain in the dip every time we have rain this drain gets blocked with mud and leaves that washes into the drain hole from the sides and the top of the bank. We are always having to go down with a spade to try and clear the drain of the sludge to let the water drain away but sometimes we can't even reach the drain as the water is higher than our wellies. It does get very deep and it is not advisable to drive through it. Something really needs to be done about this never ending issue. There is also a hump across the lane and the grid is above the lowest level which does also not help the situation.

A large area of road around this area consists of large, not necessarily deep, potholes., 23rd August
We're new to Eardisland and very disappointed to find this section of road has so many potholes that they're almost impossible to drive around/miss, not great for tyres, wheels, suspension ! They look as though they've been there for quite a while, hopefully repairs will be carried out before winter comes when they'll become even worse.
