Loudly clunking man-hole cover., 12th July

The road at this point was relaid a while ago - fine job on the whole but this man hole cover has clearly dropped somehow. As every car drives over it, there is a sound like a gun going off. One just sound of this point, outside Arboyne House, was effectively fixed not long ago. I am hoping another one can be repaired.

A number of potholes and generally rutted road between Eardisley Bridge and the school., 1st May

A number of potholes and generally rutted road between Eardisley Bridge and the school. I had to swerve a few times from the true line on my motorbike to avoid the worst patches. I consider it to be a hazard and a danger in particular to motorbikes - but the threat is there for car users too.

Sunken bit of road/pothole, 2nd January

Fri, 02 Jan 2015 15:24:12 +0000

On line with nearside wheels, going out of Eardisley - (i.e. heading towards Hereford) by the field gate. Soon after the road was resurfaced in Summer 2013, an area (perhaps 1ft x 1ft) sank. This was repaired, but not really to a good standard. It reappeared not long after. It has got steadily worse over the last 12 months and now it gives quite a jolt to a car that passes over it. It could throw a bike/m'cycle quite nastily.

Speed Limit, 15th February

As traffic enters Eardisley from Kington direction there are 30 mile an hour signs near the top of the hill. Most traffic -especially heavy lorries (Tarmac and Timber seem to ignore them and come down the hill at speed, slowing down only as they near the PO, after which the road is narrower. The Upper House Farm area has now been redeveloped and there are many more people about, with traffic emerging out of the newly named Upper Court. Could not the 30 mile an hour signs be pushed back nearer to Kington to slow traffic down the hill toward Eardisley PO?
