The following problems have been reported on Fix My Street within 2 miles of HR3 6JD:
The minor road (C1072) branches off the A438 and immediately goes uphill fairly steeply. The area in the vicinity of the junction is very rough and potholed, particularly on the north side of the road. cyclist have a choice of trying to negotiate the rough area at very low speed, due to the hill, which could result in a wheel catching one of the many edges, or moving out into the centre of the road to avoid the bad area, which leaves them vulnerable to being hit by vehicles turning off the main road., 29th April
This problem has existed for years and has never been fixed. Together with all the other appalling road surfaces in the area, it is the reason why I rarely use my bike these days.

This is a bend on a fairly steep hill. A very rough potholed area on the inside of the bend forces traffic going downhill (i.e. towards the south west) to the centre of the road to avoid it. Since visibility of traffic coming up the hill is restricted, and the outside of the bend is similarly rough, encouraging traffic coming up the hill to cut the corner, this is a head-on collision waiting to happen., 29th April

Both sides on Red lights, 23rd June
Traffic lights not working, both sides showing red, apparently most of day yesterday & this morning.
Please can you explain why are the lights there anyway? - nothing seems to be happening. There was subsidence earlier in year, but traffic lights there then for several weeks & work carried out. If they have to stay, can't they be set to automatically change to green on approach, when nothing at other end? Thanks
