The A (41) road between Aylesbury and Berkhamsted needs a clean. I counted 3 mattresses on the verge recently. There is also a large build of tyres and plastic detritus. There is a very deep and large pothole on Tring Road, on the left hand side if you’re going towards Cow Roast, right by where you turn left on to Newground Road. It’s on Tring Road and not hard to miss especially in the dark. Street name - Heath End, 16th January
This was reported in 2022 and the work has not yet been carried out. Currently Heath End which is the name of the lane running from Chesham Road Wiggington to Chesham to junction of Stoney Lane and Pound Lane has no street name signs. Unfortunately certain online mapping facilities call this lane Cock Grove which is the name of the lane on the Herts side of the crossroads at the Chesham Road. Ironically Fix My Street calls it Cock Grove!!!! Please could street name signs with Heath End' be provided at both ends of this Lane . A survey of residents on the lane are supportive of the addition of street name signage and also asks that Buckinghamshire Council work with the Parish Council to take appropriate action to rectify the errors in online mapping services - including FMS.
