The whole road between shabbington and long crendon, 20th April
This road is often the only way out of shabbington when it floods on mill road and ickford road. The rest of the time most residents avoid it if they can. Is there a plan to do a full resurface any time soon please

At the furthest end of Bulls Lane., 15th April
The road surface has deteriorated that the bottom of my car now scrapes along vegetation that has grown where there is no tarmac. We struggled ourselves to scrape some of the vegetation away but it revealed no tarmac underneath which will result in the same vegetation growing back again. All vegetation needs removing and the road resurfacing as it is challenging for smaller lower cars to drive on. An ambulance driver who attended recently expressed concerns when they drove down Bulls Lane as they had to take an elderly neighbour to hospital. It was a very uncomfortable ride when she was in a lot of pain.

Following your update, I was told in 2022 it would be done in the next 12 months, you are now saying it could be another 2 years and that’s only a ‘hopefully’! It is currently a danger to car drivers, cyclists and pedestrians! An accident waiting to happen.

The whole road needs resurfacing, it is beyond pothole repair!! It is a danger to both car users and cyclists. I have been repeatedly reporting this for 3 years now and nothing has been done!

Pavement disintegrating, 27th February
From the end of the recently-repaired pavement to the corner towards Ickford the old pavement is collapsing. The picture shows the worst section, nearly opposite Marsh Farm but there are other collapsed sections just north of this until the left hand bend. It is almost impossible to walk along this safely now.

Opposite Church gateway., 27th February
Tree fell on Sunday night. I have cut branches which extended over road but the main trunk is now resting on two fairly thin branches. If these give way it could topple down verge into the road. I do not have the equipment to deal with the tree as it is.

Road surface between Shabbington & Long Crendon, 24th February
The road surface on both sides of Shabbington road particularly between Shabbington Field farm/Bucksum farm shop and Shabbington village needs comprehensively assessing and repairing. It has been patched for many years and there are now dozens of potholes along this road - some are very deep. In some areas, the entire road surface has broken up. This is becoming very dangerous for drivers, walkers and cyclists.

Road not fit for purpose, 23rd February
Given that the road was recently "repaired " the road is not fit for purpose. Due to flooding on other roads in and out of the village this is the only route out. The road is full of deep potholes which due to the rain cannot be seen especially at night, this is not only Dangerous but causing serious damage to cars Stop patching up the road and do it properly. This is an ongoing concern happens every time other exits to the village are flooded
