Vegetation has grown by the side of the road causing poor visibility when crossing from Aylesbury side to Waddesdon. Tall people can probably see but children and 5ft adults can’t see properly to cross this 60-limit road.

Pothole, 26th April
Large pothole which is often full of water obscuring its existence. Cannot avoid if cars come in the other direction. People have resorted to putting a cone in the pothole to warn drivers. On side of road heading towards Bicester Road.

On the bends near the top of the hill, 25th April
Cement lorry has dropped wet mixture on the hill, same place as happened a few years ago.

It is on the 60mph road coming up a hill, 24th April
Travelling towards the upper winchendon village, the pot hole is on the left and so big it is unavoidable unless crossing to the other side of the road even in my small car. Going round this hole is very dangerous as it is before a blind hill so you either have to go through it and risk damaging your tyres or go onto the other side and hope a car doesn’t come flying over the hill at 60mph. This hole has been there for 5 weeks and is a 10cm and 20cm wide.

Near mains hill farm, 15th April
Several large pot holes causing vehicles to swerve on wrong side of the road just before s blind hill. Very dangerous, nearly had a head on collision

Up to and through Nether Winchendon, 26th March
Lots of grit left all over the road following roadworks. Cones and ‘road closed’ signs left in the road in two places (coming into and exiting Nether Winchendon). Road has not been repainted with lines/markings following resurfacing.

I've now received an email asking for a confirmation of location. The fly tipping is on Cat Lane, Upper Winchendon where I have pinpointed it on the map - opposite the bridleway on the grass verge half way down Cat Lane..

No signs for road closure, 25th March
Road has been closed as an emergency but there are no signs alerting drivers of this or a diversion route. - Please could this be looked into.

Grit left on Waddeston Hill Rd , 25th March
Recent road closure due to road resurfacing which finished yesterday on 24/03/2024. This is on Waddeston Hill Rd. Lots of grit has been left on the road making it very dangerous. Please can this be swept as soon as possible.

Multiple potholes /poor road surface, 12th March
..what’s not wrong! The road is in an appalling state full of pot holes. Which stretch from the farm entrance on blind summit to the bungalow the Chearsley end of this stretch of road. See second report for photos of other end.

Layby O/S #9 -10, 7th March
Layby is apparently not due to be resurfaced as a part of carriageway resurfacing. This appears to be a BC asset - can this please be reviewed and the layby repaired (as the surface has totally failed).

Contractors needing entry to houses during road closure for resurfacing, 5th March
Caller from No 2, William Nearly Cottages, HP180EN, is concerned that he is having two days of work in his house and the contractors will need entry. The dates are 11th and 20th March, one day each. Please could these be taken into consideration when the works are being done.
ALSO may need access for a gas delivery truck to come but this has not been confirmed as yet and the caller is going to try and hold off until the road is open.
Also concerned about waste not being collected for three weeks and also is awaiting travel docs by post and there is no pavement for the postman to walk along.
