Pot hole outside Number 8 Upper Hollis, 19th March

Tue, 19 Mar 2024 19:02:03 +0000
51.704049 -0.719432

In response to previously reported issues about the road surface outside Sherwood, 8 Upper Hollis I received back the following update on my enquiry “This area or problem has been identified as an area which requires extensive improvement to the drainage system in order to resolve this ongoing issue. Our Capital drainage team has been requested to assess this site and design solutions to address the problem as the system is not adequate in its current state.” With the greatest of respect and to the best of my knowledge there is no drainage issue here. We have lived here for 21 years and have never had a problem with flooding. The issue is that the road surface on the outside of the bend has deteriorated significantly over the years and needs repairing. Cannot see why the drainage system needs to be amended….
