There is a deep sharp edged pothole opened up. It is very difficult to miss because the road is narrow. Please repair ASAP.

A plastic tub of tiles / tile debris has been dumped in this lay-by with a black plastic bag of unknown waste. (uncertain if this is the exact lay-by, hard to tell)

The lane was blocked yesterday with flytipped rubbish. Most of the rubbish has been cleared but much remains stacked on the verge with warning cones indicating the danger to drivers., 12th April
The rubbish is unsightly and it’s presence will normalise the offence in an ANOB.

Uneven road surface, 27th March
Hello, on the A413 just pass the Wendover Garage and the Firecrest in both directions, the road is very uneven and large potholes are emerging. Being such a busy road, the surface is dangerous, thank you!

Outside Number 8 Upper Hollis, 25th March
Three potholes all within an 8 metre stretch of road - all approximately 18" long , 12" wide and 6" deep, A danger to road users as cars travel in the middle of the road, on the bend, to avoid them. A real danger for cyclists as well.

Pot hole just after passing bay on the LHS going down towards A413, just after HS2 works, 22nd March
Very deep pothole which caused a puncture, going down the hill. Also close to the other pothole reported last week. Both have appeared in the past two weeks and are getting worse.

Several large potholes, 21st March
Multiple potholes on the south/east side on the corner by Hunt's Green Cottages. Impossible to cycle on the correct side of the road around the junction, and hard to see when it's raining.

Pot hole outside Number 8 Upper Hollis, 19th March
In response to previously reported issues about the road surface outside Sherwood, 8 Upper Hollis I received back the following update on my enquiry
“This area or problem has been identified as an area which requires extensive improvement to the drainage system in order to resolve this ongoing issue. Our Capital drainage team has been requested to assess this site and design solutions to address the problem as the system is not adequate in its current state.”
With the greatest of respect and to the best of my knowledge there is no drainage issue here. We have lived here for 21 years and have never had a problem with flooding. The issue is that the road surface on the outside of the bend has deteriorated significantly over the years and needs repairing. Cannot see why the drainage system needs to be amended….
