The conditions this creates are dangerous for small vehicles frequently forces off the road by large vehicles. In recent months the already existing situation has greatly worsened.

Constant steam of water onto road will be a nightmare in winter with ice developing here as it is in the shadows of the banks and always freezes here and ice develops all down road to the methodist chapel

Public footpath sign missing., 27th July
The Public Footpath sign at the side of the five bar gate on the A6108 road, opposite the turn up to High Ellington/Ellingstring, was removed at the beginning of last year's (2018) shooting season and has still not been replaced by the Farmer/gamekeeper, and we are now nearly into the next shooting season.

Pot hole getting deeper causing cycling accidents, 5th April
Reported 6 th dec 18 have now witnessed a cyclist coming off bike after going into the large square pothole, as he had to avoid oncoming traffic ,as pothole on bend ,wouldn't be surprised if he is going to make a claim to HBC for bike and injury
