Footpath inaccessible, 9th September
After reading about Masham on line we decided to visit and stayed at the wonderful Old Station caravan park. However, the access into town on foot is very poor.
There is a section along the road where there is no path for about 20m where you are required to cross over and you are blind to the traffic, then further along the path is severely overgrown with thistles and nettles making it difficult to negotiate especially with our dog The shortcut across the field has a kissing gate at one end but a style at the other , so this is not accessible with a dog either
