An extremely large and very deep pothole has opened in the centre of the carriage way. The crater is approx 45cm x 25cm and 15cm deep. Has occured and significantly worsened very quickly in the last 10 days. Extreme risk to cyclists, motorcyclists and will definitely cause significant damage to vehicles that hit it, as well as potential to cause road traffic accident

Flooding, 11th December
Near Straw House on the Grewelthorpe to Ripon Road there is a dip in the road which constantly fills with deep water and is becoming dangerously too deep to drive through in my car. I am having to use other roads for safety to drive to Ripon. Please report.

Drains blocked, 11th December
Being at the bottom of a hill, the blocked drains (likely due leaves) cause the road to flood during any period of moderate to heavy rain. Last night I came across pedestrians walking in the road in the dark to get around the large area of standing water. It is very unsafe. This is all situated on a bend and to pass, people are regularly driving on the wrong side of the road around the bend and into oncoming traffic.
It was like this for years and then one day the drains were cleared out. Solved the problem immediately. Unfortunately is has not been done since and they are now blocked again.
The road floods here when the Ure gets high but this issue isn't related to that, it is when the river is low and it rains. Unlike the river flooding, this is an easily solvable problem with cleaning the drains to avoid someone getting hurt.

Tree debis blocking footpath, 18th November
Since the recent storm there has been a large amount of fallen ivy from a tree completely blocking to footpath close to Ripon Cathedral Primary school. Children walking to school have to step into the road. This is on the same side as the school between the school gates and St Cuthberts Close. It has been there two weeks.

Poor condition of pavement, 17th June
The state of the footpath along Magdalen's Road has deteriorated to the point that it is a trip hazard due to potholes and crumbling pavement surfaces. This starts opposite the Magdalens public house on the side of the park heading towards North Road Bridge, for 40/50 metres.
