Reinstatement of worn white lines on road surface, 24th February
Dangerous "pinch point" outside Bressay Court on Wreaks Road. The signage at present is GIVE WAY BUT MANY CARS, LORRIES & FARM VEHECLES IGNORE IT.
I suggest the signage be replaced with stop signs to reduce many confrontations on a daily basis. or as a last resort TRAFFIC CONTOLLED LIGHTS.

Pot hole has emerged since the road was resurfaced. Causing problems when vehicles heading towards Burnt Yates have to pull over for oncoming traffic, 8th August
This pot hole wasn’t filed in properly before the road was resurfaced. Since this road is a well used road, being the main road to Brimham Rocks and Brimham Rocks Adventure Farm, this pothole is only going to get much worse quite quickly.

Blocked Drains, 6th July
One of several blocked drains that have been reported several times since January 2019 on Lackon Bank near Birstwith.
The village suffers from bad flooding every time we have heavy rain and these blocked drains add to the issue.
Please can we get them unblocked and help our village with this flooding issue.
They are all on public highway up the bank out of Birstwith towards Menwith Hill.

Multiple problems to fix attached walk, 27th January
Please fix following problems on attached walk. Point 1 Grid ref 213604.Path that breaks left to road could do with fingerpost. Where it meets road at 214606 there is no stile ,overgrown and broken down wall banking . You have to search for suitable break.No fingerpost from roadside either. Point 2 Grid ref 233628 Needs fingerpost / gate sign to indicate path to left is after wall. Unclear from map and terrain as to which side of wall path takes. Point 3 Grid ref 255608 Path is shown crossing wall at apex. No stile at all. No markings as to route. You end up going through a gate 100m right and wandering down field. Needs style and some direction arrows to avoid aggravating land owner. Point 4 Grid ref 257603 fingerpost shows way off road but fenced off no stile. On farmers track just after - no corresponding fingerpost to show way across field. Point 5 Grid ref 258599 broken stile.

Blocked Drain, 1st January
Blocked drain which has caused recent flooding in this stretch of road. Flooding now gone but clearing this drain would be very helpful. It’s been blocked for several months now and causes flooding whenever we have heavy rain.

Large pot-hole increasing in size and in a dangerous location on the highway. Over-hanging trees and crumbling edge of highway mean vehicles are more likely to take this line. This is a road well-used by groups of cyclists (it was last year's TdY route) and it has potential to cause an accident

Further to earlier report, another example of surface dressing failure on Lackon Bank between Birstwith and Menwith Hill.

Recent surface dressed road surface falling apart, 25th February
Lackon Bank / New Road between Birstwith and Menwith Hill was surface dressed in August 2017. New road surface lasted a few weeks before deteriorating badly. Now most of dressing has failed, creating loads of road chipping. Local residents now suffering car damage. Just on Home Farm Square we’be had a cracked windscreen and several cars with paintwork damage. Damage to us to pedestrians to as stone chips flying everywhere when cars go past.
Road is now worse than before surface dressing.
