Series of potholes 3 at least 300mm wide x 500mm long x 80mm deep, 4th April

Thu, 04 Apr 2024 09:37:43 +0100
53.655796 -1.948879

We hit one of these potholes with a bang on 29th March causing an immediate loss of pressure in the front near side tyre. I bright the car to rest approx 150metres down the road. We didn't have a phone or the wherewithal to repair or change the tyre and a local man assisted with fitting the 'low speed ' spare. I had the spare replaced with a new tyre and returned yesterday to obtain photographs. The wheel is OK but the tracking, and suspension need to be checked out

I think you can summarise this for yourselves, it’s an absolute disgrace, there are potentially another 40 all the way up to the boothwood pub, multiple hubcaps and alloys have been damaged due to these holes and countless suspensions/track rods/near misses from cars swerving to avoid them., 17th March

These potholes are getting worse everytime I use this road. The material used to fill the previous holes has eroded faster than candyfloss.

2 foot square pothole, 11th February

Sun, 11 Feb 2024 17:32:36 +0000
53.680606 -1.950773

Reported this pothole previously. It has been white marked twice and now has no white marks left on it. So why white mark it in the first place? There is no footpath and it is on a rural lane. A health and safety hazard to walkers and drivers. I reported a pothole 250yds away and that has been filled. So why did the workers not do this one at the same time? What a waste of taxpayers money. Why not just fill in holes reported to you by the public for starters and then do the others afterwards?

This pot hole is about 2 foot square, 4th February

Sun, 04 Feb 2024 16:26:52 +0000
53.682195 -1.947275

Reported this pot hole before and it still remains. It has been there for months. It is getting bigger and has lots of small stones in it that spray up when a vehicle hits the hole. So my car gets hit as I park on that road. Due to the width of the road vehicles go into the hole constantly. There is no pavement and it is a health and safely hazard. Why can the council not just fill holes that are reported and look at holes later that no one reports. It is outside the blue garage at HX64NE

2 foot pothole, 22nd January

Mon, 22 Jan 2024 20:40:34 +0000
53.680619 -1.950944

This very large pothole is near the bus stop. It has been there several weeks. It has now been white marked TWICE! It is a hazard to drivers and pedestrians. There is no pavement. Why white mark potholes if they are not going to be fixed. It is a waste of taxpayers money white marking potholes. The recent white mark is now quickly fading.
