Blocking view, 24th April
Most houses along St Peter’s Ave have drives either in the front or round the back. Hardly anyone seems to use them as cars are parked all up from before the entrance Priestley Ave all the way upto Tillitson Ave. pulling out of these side streets is getting dangerous as the drivers view is completely blocked to the point I was nearly hit 3 times last week. This issue as been getting worse in the last 12 months. Double yellow lines should be in place along this stretch of St Peter’s Ave it also gets worse during school drop off and pick up times as these entrances to the side streets get completely blocked off

Articulated Wagons blocking the Road, 16th April
5 Articulated Waggons Parked at the side of the Road pointing towards Rippondon. 2 Articulated Waggons Parked Heading towards Sowerby Bridge. This means that traffic can only travel in single file, with the amount of traffic on the that road, whatever the time of day but at 07.40 this morning it is going to cause obstructions. It was the same at 17.00 last night but not as many waggons parked.

2 foot square pothole, 19th February
Reported this pothole several times. Another pothole nearby has been filled in but not this one. It is large and also deep. A complete safety hazard for walkers and drivers . Why is it not getting fixed. It is by Lane Head Barn near the junction with Hob Lane and Lane Head Road.

2 foot square pothole, 11th February
Reported this pothole previously. It has been white marked twice and now has no white marks left on it. So why white mark it in the first place? There is no footpath and it is on a rural lane. A health and safety hazard to walkers and drivers. I reported a pothole 250yds away and that has been filled. So why did the workers not do this one at the same time? What a waste of taxpayers money. Why not just fill in holes reported to you by the public for starters and then do the others afterwards?

This pot hole is about 2 foot square, 4th February
Reported this pot hole before and it still remains. It has been there for months. It is getting bigger and has lots of small stones in it that spray up when a vehicle hits the hole. So my car gets hit as I park on that road. Due to the width of the road vehicles go into the hole constantly. There is no pavement and it is a health and safely hazard. Why can the council not just fill holes that are reported and look at holes later that no one reports. It is outside the blue garage at HX64NE

2 foot pothole, 22nd January
This very large pothole is near the bus stop. It has been there several weeks. It has now been white marked TWICE! It is a hazard to drivers and pedestrians. There is no pavement. Why white mark potholes if they are not going to be fixed. It is a waste of taxpayers money white marking potholes. The recent white mark is now quickly fading.

Temporary traffic lights not working, 18th January
They were both stuck on red the other day. I’m unsure what’s going on this evening as I queued half an hour to get through. This is annoying enough but my side went green so set off and traffic was oncoming. So was their side on green too? Did people just presume not working again and go through on red. Either way there was nearly an accident with both sides going through at the same time and after waiting half an hour it is just unacceptable and needs sorting

Nuisance parking, 17th January
We have recently been having problems with vehicles being parked opposite our residents parking spaces sometimes making it difficult to access our spaces. We have politely asked that they don't park there but last week my partner got some verbal abuse by one person who is not a resident but stays here 4-5 nights a week. Today (17-1-2024) the recyclers had difficulty reaching the top of the street due to ice and the cars narrowing his access so they abandoned the collection. They returned an hour or so later and entered the street forwards instead of the usual reversing. They managed to access the top of the street but on exiting had great difficulty due to again narrowed space and ice consequently causing them to take 45mins to exit. Can anything be done to prevent this this nuisance parking and leaving access for the bin trucks and recyclers and potentially if needed fire engines. Thanks in anticipation.
