9 inch pothole just before cricket club on left hand side as driving south down Northfield Lane, 30th April
This pothole is a short distance from an enormous one that was filled thank you. But it will get bigger especially with the amount of traffic now using Northfield Lane due to the closure of Chawton Park Road. It is about a foot and half from the curb. Cars have to stop here and wait for traffic coming north from under the railway bridge. It is problematic already and has to be avoided. Please can you fill it when you fill the pot holes on the bend? Thank you!

There are many potholes on this bend. And approaching it from Northfield Lane. This has been made worse probably because of the road closure to the east. This really does need resolving asap please. Thank you.

Severe road damage forcing Alton bound traffic onto wrong side of road, 5th April
There are several areas of road damage on the left hand side of the road heading to Alton. These are on the apex of a tight, narrow bend in the road and cause traffic to the wrong side of the road. This is dangerous, there is going to be a nasty collision if this isn't fixed soon.

Many many potholes down the length of Chawton park road - EVERYWHERE!!!!!!, 2nd April
The whole road is a beeping mess. Every now and again someone comes and lobs a bit of tarmac in (badly). The corner of Chawton park road and Northfield lane is a disgrace, the road surface for about 30 metres is degraded and broken. I have reported this before and nothing gets done. This has been like it for months/years. The whole of Chawton Park road road from A339 past scout hut, hospital, sports centre, skate park, new housing estate up to where it goes under the railway bridge near Alton Cricket club is simply atrocious.

Dangerest pothole, 27th March
Large pothole on blind bend cause a blowout on my front tire today 27/03/24 I couldn't avoid the hole due to on coming traffic coming down hill at speed!!! there is going to be a serious accident on this bend which could lead to loss of life!!!

Pot hole on blind bend, you cant avoid the pot hole due to the on coming trafic coming the other way, there will be a serious accident soon, the hole has been repaired once, but only lasted a few days?? work needs to be carried iout asap........

5-7”!deep pot hole and 15” + wide., 17th February
Very deep and wide pot hole on blind bend. To avoid pot hole, the vehicle has to cross into path of on coming traffic risking a head on collision at 50mph (road speed) This holes has caused many vehicles to suffer blow outs and wheel damages. There are other pot holes in the same location also in middle of road created by vehicles avoiding this hole thus creating more holes. The road surface needs renewing not repairs as too much damage to road patching is pointless and futile.

Very deep pothole 5-7” deep and over 15” wide across road on blind bend. To avoid the pot hole cars have to cross into oncoming traffic risking head on collision and life, 17th February
Drivers have to cross into path of on coming traffic on a blind bend to avoid this pothole and risk head on collision with vehicles on this blind bend in a 50 mph road.

When trav north, at nearside of carriageway, there are two potholes close together, on a left hand bend. To avoid them requires moving into the oncoming traffic. Both are about 1ft square and several inches deep.
