Massive water main leak, 12th July
3 weeks ago about 40 yards away the water company put in a pressure valve to reduce flow to houses. Now since that a nearby water main has been spewing water up which has been flooding the road for days

Dead animal on the verge A3 Southbound between Liss and Midhurst, 9th June
There are remains of what appears to be a dog on the left hand side of the A3 Southbound between Liss and the Midhurst junction. The animal was brown and white and was the size of a large dog.

Inadequate Signage/Markings/Barrier, 28th May
A car drove the wrong way down the N bound exit sliproad on the A3 at the A272 Petersfield/Midhurst junction tonight. According to the community facebook group, this has occurred frequently to several drivers recently. Please investigate.

2 huge potholes and jagged roadsides, 4th February
These potholes are now worse than ever and very difficult to avoid as on both sides of the road by Steep Marsh. If cars need to pass each other as it is too narrow one will have to go offroad onto jagged edges

Large potholes, 3rd February
These keep appearing. They do not get fixed properly and come back. I got a puncture from one last night and i have 'all terrain' tyres. £200 new tyre!

Car seats, containers and car parts with glass and wood dumped on Cheesecombe lane. Noticed by me on my horse on Thursday 15th September 2022

10 inch pothole at edge of road, 17th April
The pothole on the west side of the road at the junction was reported about a year ago and was repaired promptly using scalpings. All the scalpings have since washed out and the fall off at the edge of the tarmac is worse than before. This is something of a choke point as it is a dangerous turning off the main Petersfield Road into this road and cars coming out of the lane have to pull over and are in danger of going into the pothole.

Temporary road sign abandoned by highway, 22nd January
This roadsign has been left here by the signpost for over 6 months. Since taking the photo last week, the verges have been cut and the sign moved across to its present location. Leaving signs after the roadwork is completed is equivalent to fly-tipping or littering and the Council/Highways should be admonished for failing to collect signs.

Road is subsiding at the edges due to blocked drains and overuse, 12th December
Road has slowly deteriorated over the last year until the point that it is now dangerous to drive down due to the state of disrepair, the drop of the side is approximately 1 foot which would cause a car to overturn if a wheel entered. The road is also extremely dangerous to other road user such a cyclists or horse riders.
