Road work sign and traffic cones left behind in Nyewood GU31, 27th March
A roadwork warning sign outside Ashleigh (next to disused railway bridge) has not been collected after works were completed last week on Habin Lane. Also numerous traffic cones await collection between the industrial estate and Dumpford Lane turning.

Hole in the road, 25th March
There is a hole opposite the gates to Sandilands Farm which was caused by water leaking from a broken sewer. The second hole and leaking sewer have been repaired by Southern Water but they missed this one as it was under the pile of material dug out in the works.

Two large holes in the last 7 days, 4th March
Two large holes have opened up in the last week. They are about the right distance apart to catch both sides of a car and destroy 4 tyres!

Persistent road drainage problem, 24th February
There is a persistent problem with water accumulating in the road. The water is often over the centre white line and at least 6 inches deep. The fix is to cut a gully across the verge to the field to get water to drain off the road.

Flooding due to road repair, 3rd February
The road was repaired in November 2020, the road height has been increased to the height of the drop kerb. So when it rains, some water does flow into the drain but the majority comes over the drop kerb and is flooding 2 properties. Any rain we have cues this flooding.

Pothole trench approx 10ft long, 30th April
Pothole trench worsened over past 4 months. The whole of Collins Lane is a half mile hazard of potholes. The 10 ft trench at the beginning is particularly hazardous as it's depth is not noticeable as a puddle. Causing great damage to cars and dangerous for walkers and pushchairs.

Tree roots pushing the pavement up causing a trip hazard, 14th July
There’s a huge London Planetree and it’s roots keep pushing up the pavement The council have already fixed the pavement two years ago but it’s all coming up again and as there’s no street lighting there it’s a huge trip hazard in the evening. That tree really just needs to come down.

9 cms deep pothole on line with nearside wheel., 10th May
This section of road is in a dreadful state and locals have taken to driving in the middle of the road to avoid the worst sections. This latest pothole is on the line of the nearside wheel when driving north and 8 to 9 cms deep on the front edge - i.e. the edge ahead of your direction of travel. As you travel north it is just before power line cross the road

Water leak, 16th September
Very poorly repaired 2 weeks ago after having to wait 2 weeks for it to be repaired. Water still badly leaking, water on the pavement now growing algae. Poor repair - Tarmac is raised above ground level, trip hazard. Water does not look like clean water.
