Second failure of a manhole., 13th April
I think this manhole is owned by Southern Water. Please pass this on. The tarmac has failed and the cover is loose. I reported this two years ago. This is another shoddy repair. Please ask that a decent repair is carried out. The repeated work is pointless costs.

Dangerous pothole, 9th April
This pothole has still not been fixed, is now 50cm wide and 30cm deep. The road is impassable as the road is too narrow to avoid it. There is a risk to life for motorcycles and cyclists who either need to pass dangerous close to car doors or ride through the pothole, so it must be fixed without delay.

Rain runoff from monoculture tree nursery causing regular flooding., 27th March
Run off from tree nursery floods 272, on occasion blocking road. Drains can’t cope with huge runoff from fields which don’t absorb rain. Perhaps land owner should contribute to fixing problem as not councils fault but is council’s problem.

Broken manhole surround in road, 25th March
When the road was resurfaced both manhole covers were set too low thus causing an incredible amount of excessive noise when traffic passes over them. Furthermore, the tarmac surrounding the manhole covers is now crumbling at an alarming rate. Pieces of tarmac are being lifted from around the manhole and I worry for the integrity of the manhole cover itself. Please can someone assess the noise and the manhole covers for safety? thank you

A very noisy manhole, 13th March
There is a very noisy manhole 95 decibels by the road 75+ at the house. People swerve to avoid it, potentially dangerous as there are children waiting at the bus stop less than 15 metres away.
