15 inch pothole, 7 inches deep at junction of Rothermead and A285. This forces drivers to drive in opposite lane when turning in. Very dangerous if a car is leaving Rothermead to turn onto a285. Been there for months, only getting worse.

Very very dangerous surface both sides, completely unacceptable!!!!, 14th March
Both East and West bound the carriage way is destroyed and liable to cause a serious accident. This is the PUBLIC HIGHWAY, and you are PUBLIC SERVANTS!!!! Totally unacceptable neglect of PUBLIC SERVANTS on the PUBLIC HIGHWAY. Totally unacceptable governmental cuts to the public highway!!!!! In 14 months I have HAD to buy 4 new wheels, 12 tyres and 2 new front wheel bearings all due the negligence of the PUBLIC HIGHWAY. I want answers!!!!!

Pot hole rapidly expanding onto the driving line. Very deep and dangerous. Currently marked with a cone shoved in the hole. Needs marking and filling asap.

Sunken ironworks, 5th October
Drain grille has lost all its flaunching and is about 75 - 100mm below the surface of the road. It was reported around March 2023 and no remedial work has yet been undertaken. A traffic cone has been placed on it as a warning to motorists for some time now and causes motorists to swerve around it which causes some problems as the road is not very wide.

Drain grill sinking into pothole, 30th August
This has been like this for sometime but getting more sunken now and when cars go over it there is a loud banging noise. Every time a van or truck goes over it it is making strong vibrations which shake our homes. Especially at night. It is located on the right side of the road about halfway down New Street

A272 Tillington to Petworth. This footpath is so overgrown I had to step into a busy road to negotiate the footpath. Thankfully I didn’t have children or animals with me! Really needs to be sorted.

Large pothole/broken edge of road, that's getting worse every day., 5th December
This pothole has been appearing and worsening over weeks, if not months. Oddly the cone (which has also been there for several weeks) that has been placed by it doesn't seem to be repairing it! I suggest it needs sorting as if someone can't swerve it because of oncoming traffic, they'll probably wreck their tyre. If a biker or a cyclist doesn't see it, they'll probably do worse than that.
