Deep consecutive ruts across whole lane, 18th August
The red stripes across the exit out of Duncton (towards Petworth) have crumbled badly leaving long deep ruts across the carriageway. People are swerving to try and miss them and I'm glad I'm no longer a biker as I reckon some of the holes are quite bad enough to cause an accident.

Very large rectangular pothole opened up at the left edge of the road if driving towards petworth., 8th October
Sited just past the Heath End garage on the same side of the road, heading towards Petworth. This looks like it may be an old repair that has broken down. It is large and quite deep. I have been unable to avoid driving over it several times now and it feels easily capable of being a tyre/wheel wrecker. A biker or cyclist would be at risk of an accident if they didn't see it.

4 inch potholes 10 metres from entrance to beechwood lane, 18th April
This pothole extrudes all the way into the centre of the road, which only allows a single car to fit on. hit this huge pothole, snapped front coil spring along with completely bending my steering rods, meaning the steering was out of aliment (see pics). Not only this but it completely burst my rear tyre. could have caused a major crash if I was to carry on driving.

Long line of dangerous potholes, 16th February
The north side of this stretch has a well-established row of deep potholes which occasionally have had partial repair. There is now an extra large pothole which also stretches into the road. It is time for WSCC to make a proper repair to this whole stretch. The only way to avoid oncoming westbound traffic is to enter this damaging minefield. Let's do it properly.

Drain cover broken, 27th September
On the A285 at Duncton on the north bound side of the road between the entrance to Seaford College and The Cricketers pub there is a fairly large concrete drain cover at the edge of the road. I notice today that the cover is broken and I think I could see reinforcing steel. Clearly if this collapses it could cause damage or an accident. Could you look at his please?
