Something heavy has run over the kerb onto the pavement and the manhole has collapsed in. This is on a blind corner where many people walk and it’s especially busy around school drop off and pick up times with a large primary school and a smaller SEN school nearby. Grass and kerb damaged by large vehicles exiting the close, 8th April
Kingfield Gardens has been neglected for few years now. The road is full of potholes and the surface is crumbling and patched up badly. The grass verges are overgrown, full of weeds and the kerbs are damaged. With the recent wet weather the corners are muddy and grass has been driven on so often that only muddy corners remain. Posts need to be installed to stop this happening and grass and kerbs need to be repaired. What happened to local authorities looking our environment well? What happened to the pride in our surroundings? I pay road tax and Council tax I would expect some of it would go towards the maintenance and repair. Would someone explain this to me please.

Parking on corners, 26th February
You can see from the attached photo how muddy the grassy corner is now. Cars frequently park on the other corner (like the red car in the second picture attached) which means that refuse vehicles and other large lorries cannot swing without going on the grass verge. This results in the mess particularly during periods of wet weather which recently we had a lot. The newly planted tree close to this messy muddy stretch is in danger of being knocked over and destryed. Please can we have double yellow lines on the other corner to allow larger vehicles to leave to Close safely or can the muddy corner be reduced, and paved so that it would not result in this unsightly mess. Thank you
