Many potholes, ruts and degradation., 9th March
There has been an enormous increase in traffic using this diversion route and the road is now in a very bad state of repair. So many huge vehicles have to use this official diversion and the A245 was not really built for so much traffic. Can someone please check it out and get it properly resurfaced and get rid of all the ruts and potholes that have appeared since this was a diversion route.

Footpath is treacherously bad, 26th January
The footpath leading from Elm Road to Wheatsheaf Common has long been needing work. The development of the Common has led to higher footfall and increased likelihood of someone falling over. I helped one such person yesterday. Part of the path needs resurfacing- Ideally similar to the work that was done to the access between the same common and Orchard Avenue. The senior citizen was badly shaken with cuts/grazes to her leg and arm.
