email rcvd (see attached trail) 05.01.24 - Good morning Wendy
Thank you for getting back to me. Yes we were very disappointed that Thames Water couldn’t get to the drain yesterday. We will try to cone off the area prior to the CCTV survey.
The water drained rapidly yesterday thank goodness but it has been dreadful for the past few weeks. We could only leave our house wearing wellingtons and people had to cross the road to avoid the deep water and got very wet getting off the bus.
I look forward to hearing from you following the survey.

The sign is illegible problem, 30th October
We have now had scamps made of the signs we discussed – please see attached, with accompanying notes:
1. 12281 CP brown signs. The Caravan Park sign replacement.
a. Size of sign = same frame size as existing caravan park sign.
b. Brown Sign at the top with suggested symbols (we can remove the coffee cup if clearer, and replace the folly or picnic bench with a ‘country park’ sign if more suitable or legible).
c. We have proposed that the branded Caravan Club sign sits beneath the brown sign; their customers are used to this as a main identifier to locating the Caravan Club. It would be a disappointment I imagine to the club to lose it.
d. On this note, for same navigational reasons, we would be delighted if Roots + Seeds could sit on this sign as well to help the business. It is major feedback from their customers that they miss that turn, so all of this helps – and given its current location away from curb, but within sight lines for traffic from both directions, we hope this is agreeable.
2. C3 Signs Design 2-6
a. Sign sizes to be confirmed but these would sit at similar size to the existing road signs on any of the posts.
b. Please can you advise the min/ max lettering size?
3. 20231011_Revised Locations
a. We propose an amended location for no. 4 having done a drive for sight lines. I hope you think the new suggestion is fit for purpose (see updated locations doc).
b. Do you have any dimensions for existing sign posts on file to better inform the sign company (ie distance between posts etc.) for more accurate design scamps?
Sign survey & production
C3 is the sign company we are proposing to work with; they have extensive experience in producing signs of all types. All signs would comply with BS requirements on reflective materials/ lettering sizes and installation would be fully risk assessed. Final drawings would be submitted to demonstrate the exact location/ dimension following a sign survey (by C3) before we instruct them to proceed.
